Fibre optic is used as the link cable from the device to the fibre cabling.There is a thick layer of protection, generally used in optical transceiver and the connection between the terminal box. Fibre optic have two types. One is Single-mode fible. It's represented in yellow. The connector and the protecting jacket is blue. It can transfer a long distance. The other is Multi-mode fible. It's represented in orange in general, sometimes in gray. The connector and the protecting jacket is Creamor black. It can only transfer a short distance.
